Minor in Finance

The Minor in Finance equips students with essential financial knowledge and skills to excel in today's dynamic business landscape. The program caters to the diverse academic interests of our students while offering a specialized pathway for those looking to enhance their understanding of Finance.

The minor complements students' primary areas of study by providing them with a foundation in financial principles, investment strategies, risk management, and financial analysis. Admission Requirements

Students need to have completed the equivalent of ACCT 100, ACCT 101; DS 110 or MATH 108 or MATH 110 or MATH 226; ECON 101, ECON 102, and ISYS 263 to be admitted.

Minor in Finance - 24 units

All coursework used to satisfy the requirements of the minor must be completed with a minimum grade point average of 2.0.

A minimum of 6 upper-division units are required to complete the minor.

All Electives must be taken for a letter grade.
