Certificate in Multilingual and International Tourism Competencies
The Certificate in Multilingual and International Tourism Competencies provides students with basic competency in two highly applicable sets of skills sought after by today’s employers: Knowledge of international tourism management as well as proficiency in languages other than English. The certificate requires completion of 4 classes, two of which are chosen from a list of classes offered by the Departments of Hospitality, Tourism & Event Management (HTEM), and two from the list of language classes offered by the Department of Modern Languages and Literatures (MLL). For their choice of language classes, students are encouraged to complete two sequential classes in the same language.
